Job Readiness Classes/Workshops
Job readiness classes or short-term prevocational services are designed to help prepare a customer for employment or training when they are on their own, without funding assistance.
Classes and workshops are available to assist individuals with acquiring skills to enable them to obtain and retain a job. These services may include the development of learning skills, communication skills, interviewing skills, punctuality, personal maintenance skills and professional conduct.
Workshops/Job Clubs may be designed to provide information and gain hands-on experience in using job-seeking skills, to provide strategies for removing barriers to employment and to generally help prepare customers for work.
