This website is the official Public Notification of all Local Area II Board of Directors meetings and Local Area II Youth Council meetings.
All meetings are open to the public and information regarding the time, place and date of all Board of Directors and Youth Council meetings must be obtained by viewing this website.

The calendar below provides tentative meetings dates and locations for the Workforce Investment Board of Directors (LWIB) and the Local Area II Chief Elected Officials Board of Directors (CEO).

LWIB & CEO Boards – Tentative Meeting Schedule

  • November 12, 2008 - Topeka - Effective 10/3/08 this meeting date is changed to November 12, 2008. No meeting will be held on Nov. 5.
  • February 4, 2009 - Topeka
  • April 1, 2009 - Topeka
  • June 17, 2009 (Annual Meeting) - Topeka

Joint LWIB/CEO Board regular meetings are tentatively scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. unless otherwise indicated. Meetings are held at the Topeka Workforce Center (large conference room) located at 1430 SW Topeka Blvd., Topeka, Kansas, unless otherwise posted.

 

The calendar below provides tentative meeting dates and locations for the Local Area II Youth Council.

Youth Council Tentative Meeting Schedule

  • October 29, 2008- Topeka Workforce Center 8: 30 to 10:30 a.m.
  • January 28, 2009- Topeka Workforce Center 8: 30 to 10:30 a.m.
  • March 25, 2009- Topeka Workforce Center 8: 30 to 10:30 a.m.
  • May 27, 2009- Topeka Workforce Center 8: 30 to 10:30 a.m.

Local Area II Youth Council Meetings will be held at the Topeka Workforce Center located at 1430 SW Topeka Blvd., Topeka, KS. The meetings are open to the public and begin at 8:30 a.m.

Any individual with a disability may request accommodation in order to participate in Board Meetings or Youth Council Meetings.
