The Workforce Investment Act provides programs for youth, both in school and out of school, from the ages of 16 to 21. The
purpose of the WIA Youth Program is to prepare young
people for
post-secondary education and/or unsubsidized employment and to include strong linkages between
academic and occupational training. |
